Frequently asked questions

Which games are supported?

You can upload liveries for ACC and AC EVO and bundle them in collections. The desktop client installs ACC liveries for now; AC EVO liveries you download as a ZIP from their livery page, see AC EVO Liveries. A livery without a game can still be shown in the showroom.

Where do I find my API key?

On your dashboard and in your settings, once you are logged in. The desktop client needs it to know which collections you follow. Keep it to yourself.

Why can't I add my livery to a collection?

  • The collection is for another game. Each collection takes the liveries of one game only, and showcase-only liveries fit into none.
  • The collection is Locked, so only its owner and the community admins add liveries.
  • You reached the limit of liveries per user, or the collection only allows certain cars.
  • The collection belongs to a community you are not part of.

If the collection needs approval, your livery is added but stays hidden until the owner or a community admin approves it. See Livery Collections.

Why can't I upload a livery, vote or change my content?

Everything you add to the site needs a verified email address on your Discord account: liveries, collections, communities, liveries in collections, competition entries, votes in competitions and polls. What you published before stays online, but changing it, publishing a draft or editing your public profile needs it, too. Verify it in Discord under User Settings › My Account, then log out and log in here again, so we learn about it. See Register & Login.

I'm on the Discord server, but not in its community.

Log in again, so we learn about your new Discord server. If you switched off joining communities automatically, or left the community before, click Join community on its page. See Register & Login.

A livery of my collection is not in ACC.

Check under Liveries in the desktop client what happened to it. Skipped means it has no _1.dds file while Only liveries with DDS files is on. Also make sure you follow the collection and that the livery was approved. See Livery Sync.

Joining a server lags in ACC.

ACC creates the missing DDS files of every custom livery when you join a session. The desktop client has two settings against it: Generate DDS files creates the missing files on your PC right after the sync, so ACC doesn't have to, and Only liveries with DDS files skips liveries without them. See Livery Sync. Upload the _1.dds files with your own liveries, too, see ACC Liveries.

I see an AC EVO livery on other drivers, but cannot drive it myself.

To drive a livery yourself, you need its SavedCar, too. Not every livery comes with one, and a SavedCar may stop working after an AC EVO update until its creator uploads a new one. See AC EVO Liveries.

My AC EVO livery does not show up in the game.

Check that the livery folder is directly in Saved Games\ACE\ExternalLiveries, not in a further folder, and restart the game. See AC EVO Liveries for more.
