Terms and conditions

Awesome Simracing is a free, non-commercial site to share sim racing liveries. By creating an account and accepting these terms, you agree to the rules below. How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.

1. Your account

• You log in with your Discord account. Keep it safe: whoever can log in to it can use your account here.
• Adding content (liveries, collections, communities, entries and votes) needs a verified email address on your Discord account.
• Your API key connects the desktop client to your account. Keep it to yourself and don't use it in other tools or share it; you can create a new one in your settings at any time.

2. Your content

• You only upload content (liveries, images, texts, logos) that you made yourself or may share. Your content and parts of it (like graphics, logos or photos) must not infringe copyrights, trademarks or other rights of others, nor break any law.
• Name the artist when you upload a livery made by someone else, and only with their consent.
• Everything you publish can be seen, downloaded and used by everyone with access to the site and the desktop client. You allow us to store, show and distribute it on the site and in the desktop client, and to present it on our Discord server and on Instagram, naming you as the artist or uploader.
• Content on the site is mainly meant for personal use. Respect the work of the artists: don't sell their liveries or pass them off as your own.

3. Communities and collections

• A community belongs to a Discord server. Only who may manage that server creates its community. Who is on the server becomes a member, unless they switched it off, left the community or were blocked.
• Owners and admins of a community are responsible for it and its collections. They may add, remove and block members and approve or remove liveries in their collections. Use these rights fairly; we expect communities to be friendly and respectful groups of people.
• By adding a livery to a collection, you share it with everyone who can see or follows the collection. The owner of the collection and the community admins may approve or remove it.

4. Polls and competitions

• Vote only with your own account and follow the rules of each competition. Enter only liveries you uploaded yourself.
• Texts you add to a poll (“Other”) must not insult anyone, contain spam or advertising, or personal data of others.
• Admins may delete polls, votes, poll texts and competition entries that break these rules, and exclude entries from a competition.

5. Behaviour

• Be respectful. No insults, harassment, hate, discrimination, spam or offensive content, in texts, images or liveries.
• Don't misuse the site: no automated mass downloads, no attempts to get around limits or access other accounts.

6. Moderation

We may hide or remove content that breaks these terms or the law, and restrict or block accounts that do so repeatedly or seriously. Please report such content to us on our Discord server or at [email protected].

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in your settings. For 30 days, you can restore it with your liveries and collections by logging in again; after that it is deleted for good. Your liveries and collections are deleted with it. Communities you own, liveries you added to collections of others, competition entries and votes in ended polls stay on the site without your name. 8. No guarantee

We run the site in our free time and provide it as it is. It may be unavailable at times, and features may change or end. Keep your own copies of your liveries. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and under the German Product Liability Act; otherwise only for the breach of essential obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage.

9. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, you are asked to accept the new version on your next visit. If you don't accept it, you can still delete your account.
